IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. U require 55% if OC orelse 50%(SC/ST,OBC)
Yes, u wil be called for interview
Jab IBPS PO ka add nikla tha, tab sirf pass graduate hi eligibility criteria tha. but now banks demand 55% in graduation. So I want to know if there any chances to get a chance for the interview of any banks if anyone got less than 50% in his/her graduation??
IS THERE ANY POSIBILITIES TO GET A CHANCE FOR INTERVIEW IF THE PERSON GOT MARKS BELOW 50% IN GRADUATION AND ABOVE 60% IN HIS/HER POST GRADUATION?
Can we apply for the 3-4 banks, if our eligibility suits us?
Or only 1 bank we have to apply?
u can apply for any number of banks if u satisfy d criteria…
sir i have cleared the IBPS po exam got 149 TWS. but by mistake my category in the score card is incorrect…it appears general and i belong to OBC category.
what should i do? is there any procedure to make it correct…plz help me.
u will b treated as a general candidate.better send a mail to ibps, given in the site. ask them whether u wud b treated as obc if u show ur certificate at the time of interview.

hi sir…. as per union bank of India notification, i dont possess d online application form wich i submitted to ibps at d tym of appearing fr written xam neither in hard nor in soft copy. nd dey’r saying it as a ‘mandatory’ requirement failing to produce will subject to rejection. bt ya i do hv all odr intimation calls frm ibps. so is dere any way v can get. or any alternative. i hv mailed to ibps as well seeking a copy of it. bt till nw derez no revert. so kindly help me out wid dis. reply awaited

i spoke to HRD of corp. bank and syndicate bank today. they asked me not to apply,
they will straight forward reject my application.

I have got 149 marks in written but in graduation I have got only 52% marks. Will I be able to apply in any bank???

if the banks are asking for 55% aggregate marks then why did ibps gave the adv. of pass graduates in the first place. if they had given the adv. of the aggregate marks then many of us would not ave been in a dilemma.
Banks are asking such criteria so that they can short list as much candidates as they can before interview itself… Ya its very unfortunate but as its first time IBPS and banks too will face problem in setting the cut off..
