IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

hai, friends.. congratulations, RBI accept the demand of bank unions abut 5 days week. now the working hours of the bank is 9;30a.m to 5;30p.m. from monday to friday as per central govt act no 15656 as same as all other central office
May I know why these banks are not declaring their real cut offs?
For example Union Bank…was the 1st bank to declare its requirement.
So why did it advertised that ALL SCORE CARD HOLDERS CAN APPLY…
Doesnt this bank want the cream of this Rank Holders??
Or it was just trying to make money by letting all apply…infact Union Bank made much MOney.
after that only they declared the cut off.
Similarly other banks are doing the same…Consequently they are bound to have the provison of waiting List….and these people had to wait really long.
The scorers who have scored a bit less dont ever get a chance to sit in an interview.
The Toppers who are applying for various banks will ultimately stick to one Bank only…so why to make all these process a CRAP??
The bank should declare their requirements as per a Ranking…like the Bank with Higher Priority should declare a cut off and recruit the candidates…those left out or who didnt get the JOb can try in the bank which is next in the priority list..
this would ensure that the banks get right candidate and those who were left out can also get a 2nd and afair chance….
BUT RIGHT NOW NO ONE IS GETTING A CHANCE BARRING A FEW.

Hey sujan where did u find it ? r u a bank employee ? I think May b it starts from july but not confirm. earlier rbi has said that it is not possible. Is that final 5 day week

Always pick up useful things and ignore waste thing……… There are several type of ppl and kisi ne kisi ko sudharne ka theka nahi liya to fir aap kyu pareshan ho rahi ho…… Bas apna kaam karte jaao or jo kuch karte hai karne do……. Agar useful hai to le lo warne ignore……….Thats life…..

some of ur comments were useful no doubt, i am so thankful to u and your team.but many were not, since it is only meant for ur friends. i named u only because u may understand me, you were replying many posts very meatured way.i did not have anything to offer new, that is why i did not post anything. most of the time i got the latest news from ur team.u know where i am working its a remote place, once a while only i get a chance to use internet( even god does not know when power goes off)…….i never intend to hurt either you or your friends….sorry if i have done so…..but once try to think in others view who are not in ur friends circle…..this also just a suggestion. i think we all may agree to have a difference of opinion.so please do not take in another way……..

I have compiled their most commonly raised queries at the IBPS & public banks (read it as asked by candidates themselves)
To IBPS
• Will every qualified person get atleast a single interview chance?
• What is the need to pass over 1.1 lac candidates when there could be only 20k PO vacancies this year?
• Why cant IBPS cancel or seize the scorecards of those who have joined a bank? (No need for scorecard block, says IBPS director)
There were many direct posers to IBPS, but has come down with the release of PO & clerk exams score lists on seeing which many heaved a sigh of relief.
To Banks:
• Rather than charging fees from all applicants, why don\’t banks collect it only from those who get shortlisted?
• Why are the same high scorers being called for interviews when they shall join any one only.
• Isn\’t possible to impose some limitations so other scorers would also get few chances?
• What will the banks do if a person finally selected doesn\’t join?
• Is there any possibility to release waiting lists/ second list?
• The interview dates for 2 banks falls on the same date.How can a candidate shortlisted in both attend?
• Will unfilled vacancies be transferred to next year`s recruitment or would it be completed within the same year of its advertisement?
• Why don\’t banks complete their hiring process one by one to avoid multiple selections?
Too many questions but very little or no answers.With each bank recruitment, candidates are growing nervous about their chances of entering the final stages & ofcourse about their future.

dear friend i never intend to hurt either tinku or his friends…..so i am surprised by the comments….i am happy that my point have taken to consideration….really i did not have any concrete solutions to these problems.i may be a mean guy, but i never intend to be mean with anyone…….i am reading these forum not see others problem and enjoy but to solve my own problem if possible others……i myself compelled three candidate to join in UBI and not to attend further interviews in my personal capacity, thats all i could do though i know no way it helps me…..so bye we do not chat each other anymore since you neither got intention nor problem…….

100 % khushi… main bahut pehle se yaha bol raha hu ki 145+ ko ek na ek call to jaroor ayega… aur tumhara 153 hai.. tumhara sabse acha chance iob me hai… aur abhi cbi, psb, obc,vijaya iska aana baaki hai.. surely chance milega tumhe!!

i never felt that it wil go this way. i am sorry not because i have raised a point but because i hurt you……which were not at all my intention…hope u leave this matter. i just want to this to be exclusive forum forum for bankexams where ready made answers and solutions are available…though i tried to improve this forum it has recieved in a negative way………so let me close the lid….i am not worried about others allegation about me,since they are baseless as far as i am concerned. i am replying to u just because i want to clarify to u……..though all these i am standing by my suggestion………bye.all the best for your bright future

i got this information from one of my frnd who hav joined union bank and he was d topper of our state and he is the only person who got a call from d head office and was offered the place of posting of his choice
