IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. gen cut-off is 166 for interview of ubi
Im belongs to SC category.. Got 140.. But i have not received any mail from UBI..
Cut off marks for shortlisting for interview are as under –
SC – 149 ; ST – 137 ; OBC – 158 ; GENERAL – 166 ; HI – 114 ; OC – 146 ; VI – 109

Guys, i think it is waste of time applying for Bankofindia and canara bank, let us wait till april-may2012 by that time the recruitment of all these banks will be finished and maximum highest score cut-off will get recruited in one or the banks so start applying for the notifications released after may or june.

i belong to ur oc cat i got 137 but i have not got any interview letter .
What is d guarantee that banks will come to recruit in fresh vacancies after May or June, when they will know that after July August fresh IBPS-2 successful candidate will be available again with higher marks….Reality is nobody wants to give a fair chance to average scoring candidates, they r making full of us by passing such huge numbers and playing d interview with only top 1/10 th candidates…
THIS MAY HAPPEN …WHEN WE APPLY FOR BANKS, THE APPLICATIONS GO THROUGH IBPS, IBPS WILL SCREEN THESE APPLICATIONS ..AFTER CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS THE SCORE CARD WILL BE TAKEN BY BANKS SO THEY CANT APPLY FOR NEXT COMING BANKS..SO THE CANDIDATES FILTERED LIKE WISE..PLEASE BE HOPE THOSE WHO GOT 120 TO 145 MARKS..IT TAKES TIME TO GET 2 TO 3 INTERVIEWS
ab tujhe cut off batane ki jarurat nahi hai UBI ka cutoff dekh ke sab ko pata hai kya hone wala hai aage, to namak chidakna band kar….
send email to unionbankofindia email-id is recruitment@unionbankofindia and i wish they will pass the message to other bank recruiters deciding tso high cut-off is not fair to short-list candidates, they shd have mentioned the same cut-off in the notification,this means that an average student has no chance to get a call from one or two banks this is really unfair process, simply UBI is making money from this recruitment.
This is actually ridiculous and i am also very disappointed over this OPEN CORRUPTION/ MALPRACTICE That is exercised by the banks with the help of IBPS…….. I got 162 marks but i am not able to appear for any interview because of the Percentage problem……………. See if the percentage was to be the criteria then WHY THE MISGUIDING ADVERTISEMENT? WHY THE TEST FOR ALL? ………….. I had not applied for any P.O. Exam in the last two years simply because i was not eligible due to percentage. if this absurd act was to be done then they must not have advertised so………………. Please help and UNITE AGAINST THIS MALPRACTICE……. IT IS SIMPLY NOT JUSTIFIED/ ILLEGAL..

I am also the sufferer as i got 162 marks but not able to appear for any interview only due to the MALPRACTICE exercised by the BANKS with help of IBPS………. Get United against this injustified MALPRACTICE done by them…….. count me for the legal proceedings.

absolutely right…… the simple thing is that I have not applied for any P.O. EXAM for last two years only due to percentage problem……. now i got 162 marks then what is the question of this ANDHA KANOON………………….

it is nt the question of whether other banks will offer less percentage and elsewise…… ! it is the problem that they r saying U, ME, AND ALL OF US ILLETERATE who can be fooled anytime and we silently accept it …! Please consider…….. though i am also following your view and preparing for other exams but atleasti understand the MALPRACTICE being EXERCISED and i REGISTER MY PROTEST !

i got 124 in ibps cwe..i belong to sc cat…currently im working wid canara bank as a clerk..i also didnt get call letter for interview..i m also very upset..r they calling for interview on the basis of score????
it is very depressing to see ubi cut off..reservation will be finish all the general category people..mra score acha h bt dnt get call.sabhi bank se asa hi hona h

loot liya bhai loot liya…any act of stealing with proper laws is not stealing but business…
this is the hight of looting nd corruption in our country. they should have mentioned earlier so that the money of people is not wasted. or they should have asked only the shortlisted candidates for money. when ibos took fees it said it is for upto the interview. then y double fees? banks go nd ask ibps for the fees. this way innocent students who have worked hard will never get a call from any bank. at least a chance should be given to fight the interview. people have a score of 169 wid 49% in graduation are getting call letters. this is rediculous. but we r educated and aware people. we should not sit idle and let the banks exploit us. at least i will go for a janhit yachika in court against this mockery………………….if anyone wanna join they r welcome……….this is our and our parents hard earned money and we all have worked hard
I GET 61% IN GRADUATION & P.G 57%,IBPS-153 CAN I HOPE FOR OTHER BANK INTERVIEW EXCEPT UBI.
