IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

i hv done my b.tech(E.C.) wid 63.64%,12th 69%,10th 81%..wat r my chances fr getting an intrvw call…i m in a dilemma whether i wll gt an itrvw call or nt??

I am also having same marks and category. I asked Hr Of UBI he said for PWD cutoff is 146.
So for general candidates below 150 marks, d chapter is closed, we r jut wasting our money by filling challans, bcoz UBI has d highest vacancy nd if their cutoff is so high, then it means d candidates seleced in UBI will also get repeated calls from Syndicate, Corporation BOI, Canara etc,etc. till their scorecard blocked…So, the dreams r over and reality is, there is no place for avg. candidates……….

Hr of UBI told me that Cutoff for PWD is 146
what about others general and obc?

you are right the policy of banks is very bad that a candidate with high score get many interview calls and avg student doesn’t get one then why ibps have clear candidates below 140
I scored 147 and I belong to General category.The cut off may go up to 140-45.Because they put 50% 125 as the pass category so how they can rule out the candidates from 125 to 150??Offcourse UNION BANK OF INDIA has the habit of inviting all the qualified candidates instead of keeping selection criteria.

feeeling scared yaaar,,………….i to got 152 GEN category…………….but did not get any interview calls from ubi…i thought 152 was good enough for interview calls……..plz frns who so ever gets an interview call frm any bank please update ur ststus and total weighted score…

Cut off marks for UBI
Cut off marks for shortlisting for interview are as under –
SC – 149 ; ST – 137 ; OBC – 158 ; GENERAL – 166 ; HI – 114 ; OC – 146 ; VI – 109
if u see the cutoff for union bank interview u ll realize that its higher than corporation bank also which has the highest cutoff so far…compare the no of vacancies its just the opposite….wonder wht corp bank will do with so less vacancies???

THIS IS CHEATING ……GETTING LOW SCORE AND BEING CHEATED BY BANKS..IF THEY REALLY WANT TO BE FAIR..THEY ALL THE SUFFICIENT DATA TO PUT THE SAME CUT OFF MARKS BEFORE NOTIFICATION…
THEY MUST COME CLEAR WITH THEIR RECRUITMENT PROCESS..BECAUSE..BLINDLY APPLYING FOR EVERY BANK..WHERE WE WILL GET MONEY LIKE POOR PEOPLE AND WHO DONT HAVE JOBS..EVERY BODY CANT STAND ON THE SAME LINE.

hey guys my ibps score is 169 and i belong to general category as well as my graduation marks is 49% but I got invitation for interview from UBI.what is all of you opinion about my case please comment.thanks in advanced.
i think that the banks are just earning money from the average scoring students. they should decide the cut off marks first so that the candidates wont waste their money…..sale bhikhari hei sab.

yes they must mention the cut off in advance so they the money is not wasted.we should go for a janhit yachika to stop this money making process
