IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

Dear Friends,
why are you afraid that cut off will not go low, definitely it will go low because banks has to fill their published vacancies only through IBPS I because they had published all eligibility critearea i.e. Age, Educational Qualifications, Minimum qualifying Marks etc as per IBPS. For example If UPSC or any other recriting agency declared the vacancy for any post stating no. of vacancy, eligiblity critarea etc and some how they cannot complete the process due to delay & declared new vacancy or in CAT Admission cannot be taken in next year against the vacancy of last year. the vacancy of the particular notification shall be filled only from the eligible candidates who had appllied for the said notification otherwise banks will suffer serious litigations in different courts. Here Bank had committed mistakes that they had called lower score for eligibility untill they cannot called all the eligible candidated for interview they cannot carryforward the vacancies for next IBPS.

there are total 8015 candidates above 166,out of which 2400 has been selected by union bank,355 by corporation,1750 by syndicate,800 by bob and 1600 by allahabad,so only 1110 candidates will be left in the score range above 166….the bank’s will have to lower their cut offs as there wont be any candidates left in the score range above
above 166 total—- 8015
union——– 2400
corporation— 355
syndicate—– 1750
bob———– 800
allahabad—– 1600
candidates remaining——-1100 above 166 out of which some will be selected by canara bank.hence there will be hardly any candidates left above score 166.
@tamanna en vacancy me kutch ka score 166 se niche bhi hoga in reserve cat. me, gen me canara ke liye teektaak no mil jayenge.

for gen total is 5920 above 164,out of which till now 2590 candidates has been selected by union+corp+syn+bob+all,some will be selected by canara also so around 2500 gen candidates are still left in the score range above 164…..lets c there is still hope.

there are total 12452 candidates in gen category above 160, 9610 candidates in OBC category above 160, 74+560 in others above 160. total candidates above 160 are 22696. So far total number of vacancies declared by banks are 15901. The no of vacancies against which call letters have been issued by banks is 10667. looking at this calculation we are unneccesarily blaming banks. The banks are adopting right procedures and the cut offs are justified upto some extent. Just wait for total number of vacancies by all the banks. wishing all the best to all.
