IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. suggest me that i am manish i have score 146 score in IBPS PO exam september 18,2011 and got 59.6% in graduation.. I am in general category in centre but in rajashthan OBC and by mistake fill in the form obc in written exam(CWE) and on time of interview will i able to give interview in general categories please tell me.. HELP ME PLZ

me too same prob… I too gave as OBC… but am creamy layer… They have told that we can change the category in Union Bank, etc… But I think it’s better we tell them when we go for the interview ( I mean just before the interview there will be a verification process). At that time just inform them this….

Tu centre me general right me OBC left me SC aur deep inside ST hi karta reh. Agar kuch nahi mila to General hai hi. So, Castism me jhulna band kar aur interview ki preparation karo.
With regards to graduation there is no problem ,but as u ave put under obc and u are not i dont know what the authorities will do for it.u can ask the individual banks
Hello friends!!!!!my problem is i am right now in 8th sem 2012 and i pay fees for application for job post I.T. sacle-1 .But after that i come to know that it’s for 2011 pass out student.
So any one know can i cancel that application? or Is mark can be counted for 2012 for interview?pls say what should i do!!!!!!

Bank of india has announced general banking officer vacancies:
required IBPs score for General-130 and 117 for reserved categories.
60% aggregate in graduation and 55% for Others also.

I have always had a confusion regarding filling up my graduation percentage. My university considers the Honours marks for awarding the class. So i hold 68 % in hons paper and have a first class in my graduation. But when the bank asks for graduation percentage i am confused whther I should enter 68% or 59%(aggregate Hons + Pass papers). Some banks like “Bank Of India” clearly mentioned that I have to mention aggregate Hons + Pass papers marks. But a few others just mention 60% in Graduation. So what should I enter in those cases? 59% or 68%.
Honours paper in graduation seems like nothing else than a burden for me at the moment.
Please answer.
