IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. Pls clarify the minimum % marks for union bank po.It says minimum 55% for general(50% for reserved category)in aggregate in the final year of graduation.What does it mean?
You cannot apply because bank want total 55 or50 percentage mark

In corporation bank vacancy they r asking 25 marks in each subject. but my question is any body who have got 24 mark in dicriptive and 30 marks in objective with 155 weighted average. can he aply in CORPORATION BANK?
hey frnds i have 55% marks in honorse but 54% in agreegate(including subsidary) other ctra ok PLEASE ADVISE I BELONG TO gen and std score 149
They asked aggregate marks that means only weightage marks you got.you dont add all the marks.u take english as 1/2 mark.that means how much marks u got in english /2.both objective and descriptive. just refer your scoredcard backside.

Wats the diference between agregate marks and total weighted marks
i Have 24 in reasoning and in others more than 30 . my std score is 157 (GEN).can anyone suggest me is it possible to apply for corp bank as they mentioned 25 in each subject

no you all can’t apply bcoz minimum required marks is 55% in graduation! can’t you read the notification yourself….
you should never get this job because you cn’t even read the notification yourself!
There is no criteria of score for union bank.

Well, I have cleared the IBPS exam and the Total Weighted Standard Score is just 123, with the below bifurcations in each individual papers:
Reasoning -22
QA – 24
GA – 24
CK – 24
English – 27
Descriptive paper – 30
I have passed my Graduation with 52.9%
and passed MBA with 76.14%.
Is there any one who would advise me of the openings in the banks which fulfills my criteria?

no dude u r not eligible only 55% in graduate are eligible wait for other bank notification

No Mehar sorry to say you cant apply as they have clearly mentioned for genl catg 25 marks in each section ..but be positive and apply for others u have very good Marks Corps are going to absorb all the top slots in remainingu can play safely prepare for Money and banking and Monetary tools in GK and Current affairs.

that means ur aggregate mark in final year should be 50 or 55%
Only in Corporation Bank the sectional cut off matters
if i am having 72% IN MBA and 49 % in UG . can i apply for the same. i am having a score of 147 -OBC
yaar tum log 1 advertisement nahi padh sakte thik se how can u expect a job at mangerial level try to collect all your strength and confidence go to bank sites and gather every piece of information……….
hello sir same thing happened with me . i have not 55% marks in gradution but my ibps score is 60% and MBA with 67%. IBPS required only pass graduate but now banks want 55% so why IBPS adv. simply pass graduate.IBPS doing wrong with us.they are giving less chance because mostly bank will want 55%marks in gradution except two or three.
