IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. One more question that i got 146 IBPS, 59.6% in graduation AND in MBA 74% but my score card not with me now due to late delivery of university . Please suggest me that in form i am able to fill MBA 74% in post graduation or not? Please help me..

You must be a Graduate on or before 01.07.2011(not 2010). Since your date of graduation is 20.07.2011 you can apply for Union Bank Of India.:)
Since your date of graduation is 20.07.2010you can apply(Sorry Typo).

those who have not kept a copy of application at the time of applying for written test can get it now. i have also download it on 12th january go to ibps site type your registration no date of birth and password and get it download, if u dont have the password click on retrive password a password will be sent to your mail put the same password and dob and redg no in the ibps site and get the apllication.

congrates 4 being qualified in the IBPS PO exam.as u had secured 148 marks,let me tell u their r 25000 vacancies in 19 banks and only 30000 candidates had secure more than 148 marks in that exam.so u just prepare urself for interview,apply for all the banks as per bank’s norms.hope u will get an opportunity to work with any of bank.

i pass the ibps po exam with more than 60/ marks . but now the age for applying for interview is 21, i completed my 21 years on 05-09-1990, but the banks required 21 years on 01-07-2011. what should i do. am i will not elegible for any bank interview. plese reply and guide me.

in your advertisement for specilist officer requires minimum age 20 years .But when the candidate pass the written exam is the
banks call for interview of 20 years candidate who pass the exam.
in now ibps PO EXAM held in september approx 10000 candidates facing this problems , who passed the exam with higher marks but due to age problem the are not eligible for applying in interview, i am also one of them.
Now when we are calling in banks they said apply in others banks:
sir, what is this ?
how can it possible that the bank take written exam on 20 years and for interview it set the minimum age 21 years?
is this justice with us?
who is responsible for this kind of fault?
why we punish if we are not guilty?

who told u that banks have taken the written exam, banks r only conducting interviews. why don’t u read d full advt.of IBPS before commenting, where it is clearly mentioned that banks r free to set their criteria i.e. educational qualification and date etc.. U can’t force a bank to set their criteria according to u. Ur fault is that before applying for IBPS written, u didn’t even bother to see the last recruitment of bank (age criteria), other wise u won’t face this situation.Don’t blame others.
I have passed ibps 2011 exams with 162 marks.But by mistake my name was entered as
Jayarani V Vijayakumar in the application where as my actual name is only JayaraniV.
My fee challan receipt is in the name of Jayarani V. Pls anyone what can be done in this matter during the interviews. Waiting to hear from from you.
