IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. i think cut off will go down to approx 156 once canara is done with its recruiting process coz banks have to fill their seats n is their ultimate goal . Tney cant be rotating the top scoring candidates once candidates have joined any particular bank.

just wait for right time.
153 is good score n u’ll get chance to face interview soon. May be after complete processing of first 6 banks , cut off will go down cause they can’t rotate top scoring guys again n again n they have to fill their seats as well , so cut off will be 155 may after it.

This Syndicate bank interview is all fixed in delhi….the member in the panel are supporting some guys during the interview.i am a maths graduate and the start asking about LIBOR,Contigent Libelity,10 types of mortegage…how can the expect a maths graduate to answer these questions….while some of the student whom they are favouring got normal questions….Syndicate banks SUCKS.

U cant say like this though it takes time to adjust any where u go wheather its village or a foreign country.

no one knows better than me how painful it is when dream shatters.
For instance, i was failed by 1 mark in rajasthan police service and i was planning a lot at that time about my future after becoming an officer.
Can’t predict nything very precisely bt 160 k aas-pas honi chahiye… Jst keep ur fingers crossed n hope 4 d best. Filhaal aur kuch kar b to ni skte rather wait n watch..

Just think n put ur logic.
Cut off will go down coz banks r not playing here . They dont have enough staff to cope up with their current work so coz top scoring candidates will join some bank they will qualify for, the banks have to call other candidates waiting in line if not now may be later. But it will happen otherwise they might have not passed 1.1 lak candidates and rest r hearsay or rumours.

us hisab se ti boi ki cut off 162 honi chahiye thi ya to usse bhi kam kyun ki graduation mein 60% manga tha
dekho mein kon hota hun calculation karne wala par bank jis hisab se call kar raha hai maine usi hisab se kaha

canara allhabad uco yeh teen hi bank hai jisse koi umeed ki jaa sakti thi par hame ye nahi bhulna chahiye ki bak un logon ko jinka ki union ya corpo ya syn main ho jayega bulane ko majboor hai kyun ki inke scorecard cancel nahi hone wale
Roshani ab mind hi nahi raha jo calculate kar sake LOL

Total no. of students selected for interview is 301 i.e.for 89 seats. ratio is 1:3
