IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

“B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (as on 01.07.2011) :-
Please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for applying to various Public Sector Banks. However merely applying for CWE/ appearing for
the examination does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for
employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate
its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.
I. Nationality / Citizenship:,
II. Age (As on 01.07.2011):Minimum: 20 Years Maximum: 30 Years
C. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (as on 01.07.2011)
A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification
recognized as such by the Central Government.
D. WRITTEN EXAMINATION” and so on.It means C i.e.”EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS” does not come under B i.e “ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA”.This implies that C (EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS)
can not be changed.This is our important point for discussion.If we file a case this point we have to remember.
I got 150 score in ibps cwe ,obc category.
i have NT-D (Nomadic tribe)non creamy layer certificate from maharashtra.
In psu bank po interview they ask OBC non creamy layer certificate.
Nomadic tribe comes in obc category at national level.
will NT-D (Nomadic tribe)non creamy layer certificate from maharashtra
be accepted as OBC non creamy layer certificate in psu banks?

hey divya,though i have secured more than 55% in graduation yet i understand and duly support your concern…..and the concern of many others like u…..you all protest against this and we will also support u all in any possible way we can….dont give airs to the verdict of persons like prateek and the like and i m sure the justice will tilt itself towards the genuine

can we change the information we had given in the ibps application form?
can we change the information while applying to the banks under ibps to the information we had given in the ibps application previously?

Dear Sir/Madam can diploma holders apply for the CWE exam conducted by IBPS?
dear u should apply for ubi and syndicate bank..then after complete procedure of application submission,bank will create a merit list on the basis of reservation(may be 1:3 or 1:5),as u belong to OBC category hope u would be shortlisted 4 interview.
& if u shortlisted u will be informed through IBPS & BANK’S website.also u will get a mail regarding the schedule of interview.pray 4 it 7 if not selected then dont be worried because till march all bank will notify for the vaccancy.

and annual family income as 3-5 lacs
i come under obc creamy level
in union bank recruitment application it doesnt ask for catagory but in detail advertisment they said if u come under obc fill catagory as general.
what to do please suggest

u have any reservation for sc/st they ask for 50%in corp synd ubi,they ask for 50% for obc,sc,st
