IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

and the strange thing is that they have not mentioned any cut off marks for shortlisting of candidates….which is not fair…who all got the call?

Hi guys.
Its sad that none of the banks except ubi n corporate .
yesterday when i went to bank of maharashtra to deposit my challan, i met a guy who came there for the same purpose.
he told me that those guys who didnt get interview call from union bank have received a msg from the bank stating that their cut off fell short of the eligiblity criteria.
This msg was for those candidates who though applied in ubi, but didnt get interview call.
Is it correct coz i have not received any msg from ubi regarding that.
Another thing is that if a candidate falling in reserve category get marks more than a candidate of general category, then he’ll be eligible to get seat from general or his own reserved category.
pls clear my doubts.

cut off for syndicate bank is as follows:

OBC-160
SC-150
ST-139
yes Rahul its true if a Reserve candidtae get higher marks than general candidtae He Will get Selection suppose u have 162 and reserve candidtae have 163 than he or she will be select over u i mean total marks
and i didnt get any Message from UBI
its jus rumour why Banks will send SMS 2 those who didnt get call?? its jus Rumour

i have 140gen(oh)66% in grad..still not selected for interview.but the cutt of is 138.now wt can i do?i am so sad..

Mujhe syndicate ka cut off dekh kar bahut dukh hua yaar.. And its only 4 roshani.. Qki usse jyada despritely koi syndicate ka wait nahi kar raha tha.. Khair koi nahi roshani.. Bank of india n canara me sure bulayega tujhe… Apna khyal rakhna..
