Dear friend
prepare for interview…
u will get call from all the banks if the accuracy is good.
Can anyone who appeared in previous year xam explain about the Linear Transformation Method?
And what about the concept of accuracy?
Suppose i answered 20 ques ,out of which 12 are correct,so it means i will get 12-8/4=10 marks…
and someone is attempting only 10 ques and all are correct, his marks will also be 10.
So will there be any difference in the Standardized score?
Plz explain if anybody knows .
Thanks
dear friend
if urs n other`s standard score will be same like 140 and 140 then the preference would be move towards the person who did minimum wrong que.thats it…
u r not hard worker u never do in future as shown ur comment

the exam is horrible, especially reasoning and quant are time killers. general awareness and comptr awareness sections are tricky but it is easy… i dont know mychances…..
reasoning 30
quant 28
eng 26
ga 42
comp 36
descriptive is ok
friends, can any one let me know what is my status………
ok better luck next time.. next exam will be conducted after 7 to 8 months
Could some one tell me where can i read about the Linear Transfer Method??…i checked on the IBPS site but could not read about the same.
Explain in terms of marks
because marks is given to the candidate
How the the marks is affected by the accuracy?
I too need the same info..Some people say the number of attempts count and marks are given differently. Is that true?..
no of attempt and accuracy dono matter karti h.agar apne 125 attempt kiye h,25-25 sbi sub me,with atleast 98% accuracy.then apka TWSS jyada hoga,in comparison to thos, jisne 150kiye,avg 30in each sub, with 85%accuracy.isly tukka method apply nhi karna chahiye.
this time score will be less and candidate from last year will have more chance is it so?? or there will be other method or calculating ranks
what the f**k this ibps site is the rrb form is not opening from last 2 hours they take money and only sleep with it

Process for Arriving at Standard Scores in the Common Written Examination
The Standard Scores are obtained by adopting the following procedure:
(i) Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers.
(ii) The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores*.
(iii) The Equated Scores so obtained are standardized** to arrive at Final Standard Score with a minimum ‘0’ and maximum ‘50’ by following Linear
Transformation Method.
This procedure is followed for each of the tests.
* Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
** The equated scores in each test are scaled to Standardised Scores with Mean 25 and Standard Deviation 5
this ibps organisation is a f**k the rrb site is not opening from the last 3 hrs they take money only for f***king
if u dont believe it then try to open the rrb site
mates….could some one tell in detail about the LINEAR TRANSFER METHOD used by IBPS?…i dont know a crap about the same..
Dear Khushal,
Thank you very much….Very kind of you
Dear Khushal,
May I ask you a favour, I fall in the general category, I have attempted questions as below with 95% accuracy, according to your opinion will i stand a chance.
ENG – 40
COMP – 35
GA – 35
QA – 18
REAS – 12 (100% accuracy)
Anxiously awaiting your kind reply.
@ Anoop
U should qualify the exam but TWSS is a concern bcoz if last time trends continue then 165+ in Gen cat is required. But if new measures are taken then even 150 will be good
