IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducted the second IBPS Common Written Exam for recruitment of Bank POs on 17th June 2012 in two shifts. Here is the post for the review of the IBPS PO question paper and discussion forum to discuss the difficulty level and expected cutoffs and answers to various questions.
As per the recent comments from many subscribers of our website, the PO paper seems to be on the difficult side specially the Reasoning and Quantitative/Numerical Ability sections.
Please post your views about the question paper and the expected cutoffs. We will later summarise your views for the benefit of all. Also, post the questions asked in the examination for which you want to know the answer.

I am also doing job in MFI…..will it be better to prepare for IBPS after quiting the job……….what you people says
yap ofcourse,,be confidant yar….1st attempt mein he aisa soachoge…..better luck next time….for me too…..it was also first time for me to appeare any PO EXAM…
I am working with Google…. and until i have a better option i would not leave my job…… ; :::))))) ………we would try again but on the risk of my job……..

guys think??????jis jis bank ko po ki requirement thi wo fill ho chuki h ab kya ghanta vacancy bachi hai jo ibps exam kara raha hai ,,,so SAAWDHAN ye sale revenue collect kar rahe hai …nahi to kya ek candidate pe 500 rs. ka spend aata hai,,,,Railway b exam karata hai, ssc bhi inki fees kitni hoti hai 50 ya 100 rupaye

if you are in better position you need not to leave….but do you think ke…if you are working in a Pvt.sect org. where so much work presser…lack of job security….Not much time for Family & Friends ….even for him/self….how will you justify in cut throat compett.,,,with the papers like PO….jo aapne abhi SUNDAY ko he diya hai…

apti was not as difficult as Reassoning….. there were 3 DI, 10Q from simplify and approx., 5Q sequence completn and remaining 20 were of straight forward word problem….. so atleast cand. had choice amoung the section and trust me there were atleast 25 very simple numericals, but in reasoning PUZZLES were very very difficult and each of them were carrying arnd 8-9Question. than the ASSumption based questions were of different level &type….. so in my view REASONING was the toughest as the student dont had the flexiblity in that section due to lack of variety of question.
Can anyone tell when will the 3rd IBPS PO exam be held???

ab kya Kahein aur kya na kahein. Exam dete dete hi jindgi kat rahi hai. pata nahin kitne PO aur clerk ya babu ki post ke liye exam denge.
Hope After Six month form declaration of PO Exam.
Donot forget. Higher the risk higher the gain.

IBPS PO 2012 exam question paper does not even deserve for discussion and does not deserve these many comments also. utter waste paper.Wasted many people’s hard work.
That is exactly what i have been trying to ask everyone here Prabha but it seems like they do not have any idea about it.I guess it will take place either in octobwer or in december as these only are the months when schools are vacant.
U r right but be hopeful for the next time I am sure it will be relatively easy.
take up MASTER IN CURRENT AFFAIR of mahendra’s publication. sirf 25 rs ki aati hai…… xam ws from there only…..!!
Hum Honge kamyaab Ek Din, Man mein hai vishwaas, hum honge kaamyaab ek din. Never ever feel down cos your hard work is being seen by god and he really cares for hardworkers.
keep ur fingers crossed….. the paper was very difficult….. nd dont get disheartened bt what i feel u r a bit short in maths bt no one knows there marking scheme….. so keep ur spirits high mate!
The paper was real tough especially the reasoning portion. All the hard work has gone down the drain. Now the only hope is the almighty and if your own luck can bail you out this exam…..
