right swathi …… i did practice only for 2 hrs a day…. and that too coz m working i dint take it seriously but now looking at the paper i m lil upset……… many ppl say that you need to manage time in bank exam but here even if you get time the paper for maths and logical reason would be clear within 4 hours……
its based on linear cnversion method .. smeting lyk percentile thing similar 2 MAT exam score
ohhh thats so sad to hear, it was my first attempt and i heard that many ppl from last batch are awaiting for an interview call …. the system is very slow!!!!!!

jo chit fund act me bhi nahi aata……
for gen: 15 marks in each paper
obc ; 12 marks………..
st : 8 marks…..
sc : 5 marks….
ibps should be banned complete wastage of time and money
I thought, thought and finally drank water after 1 hr…..
reasoning part was toughest encopassing 2to 3 seating arrangement questions that are considered as the most time consuming questions and are suggested to be avoided also .gk and computers was ok even english was ok with easy paragraph and just 1 as compared to 2 paras last year but then maths included less di part with 10-12 ques in it rest was problem solving with odd even combination divisions which require time ……..one who has set reasoning and qt must be a nerd …..how harsh one can be ….even numbering in the questions were wrong
hehehehhe ….. i can understand your frustration ….. we all are with you
hectic n time consuming except english and computer! wish the board should not set such question in the forthcoming exam (ipbs)
lolzz …….. i dint even feel to drink water … i just ran to home…… was damn hungry ..!!!!! ghar jaake aram se soyi ibps vips sab bhul gayiiii………..
I solved one out of five ques that of 1st, 2nd and 3rd conclusion
r u serious???????
Quantitative mein ek 5 number waala ques easy thha, ye mujhe arnd 11 50 pe pta laga
jisme production and sales ki ratio di thhi……..
true, paper was too tough spl. Of reason’g and qa. I m also very disappointd. I attempted 20 each in qa and res. N 30+ each in remaining sec.
hehehe good question
QA and reasoning was quite tough. The cut off will be low this time and candidates who scored high in last CWE PO exam will get edge over it.
reasoning section so time consuming
after this rubbish xam. everyone can be serious…….
hahaha
can anyone tell what will be expected cut-off for general category..
sahi ya galat
but one thing sure cut off will be low just around 10-15
HI Everyone,
On Going through the your views, It quite possible to cut off of Reasoning/Quantitative would go for 7/9 marks each(after deducting penalty).
The paper was really the toughest one. In Quant sec. all 3 DI’s question was tough except the 1 (but it was more calculative…like 1st take %age, then ratio of 2 item & then calculate the result for which the query is raised.)
In Reasoning Section both puzzle was horrible as who take 1st to solve puzzle got stuck in that and waste much time. Statements like implicit que was quit easy to other statements que. Non Verbal reasoning was also tough part. But one can solve the 3-4 que of them.
Data Sufficincy quetion was very tricky in Reaosoning section. Given 3 statement with condition and asking for from which statement should be consider to give the answer. que based on floor puzzle. like there are 5 floor. who lived on 5th floor.
Machine Input was quite easy but time taking.
4 que is based on Weight of person like P,Q,R,S,V with condition asking the deduce result which one was also a time taking.
Some questions in GA and Computer question was asked tricky and time taking to read them.
In English , 10-15 questions were asked to solve by anyone.
In a nutshell the Paper was tough, but one can qualify the exam, those who attempted 7 que in Reasoning, 8 in Quantitative,10 in Eng, 18-22 in GA and 22-24 in Computer.
All the Best for Ur Future…GoodLuck!!!
i sat for the IBPS exam on 17th june in the afternoon shift….. i started with GA the questions were of moderate difficulty level so expected cutoff shd arnd 19 correct answers and linearly corrected to 24 marks. then i did computer section the questions were again of moderate difficulty level so the cutoff will remain the same as in GA. then i attempted english section it was on the easy to moderate side so the cutoff will be of 24 marks bt with difficulty level the no. of correct questions required to clear the section will be more than GA & COMP. all these 3 section including oval-ling took 60 min. of my 150 min. i was very happy and confident till then. and than i decided to attempt reasoning section because i thought it will help me to dedicate more time in maths, but the reasoning section was so tough that it took arnd 35 min to do 16 questions and then i decided to move on to maths so that atleast i qualify all the section, i gave quant 35 min. and solved arnd 28-30 questn and the came back to the reasoning part to atleast attempt 25 question in that section and in the end i did attempt a total of 26 questions of reasoning and wAs very disheartened at the end but what i feel the correct questn in maths will be 16-18 due to the difficulty level of the section and in reasoning if you have attempted a total of 14 questions with 100% accuracy you have a good chance of qualifying this section. descriptive topics were also very simple so i dont think feel leniency will there. the letter topics were.
1) letter to your bro/sis, telling him abt imp. of economic survey.
2) letter to appropriate authority about lack of recreational activity in your area.
3)letter to the editor of a local newspaper about the efforts of a small organization in your area.
TOPICS OF ESSAY
1) growth of insurance sector in India.
2) corporate social responsibility.
3) Significance of Unique id(aadhar card) in india.
