Here is the post for the review of the IBPS PO question paper and discussion forum to discuss the difficulty level and expected cutoffs and answers to various questions.
As per the recent comments from many subscribers of our website, the PO paper seems to be on the difficult side specially the Reasoning and Quantitative/Numerical Ability sections.
Please post your views about the question paper and the expected cutoffs. We will later summarise your views for the benefit of all. Also, post the questions asked in the examination for which you want to know the answer.

HOW HARSH THE PAPER SETTER ARE THEY DONT EVEN THINK THAT CANDIDATES HAVE TOO MUCH HOPE ON THE EXAMS
THESE SETTERS GET THEIR JOBS IN EARLY STAGES WHEN IT IS VERY EASY TO ENTER

yes i agree with you dear we must raise our voice aganst IBPS recruitmennt process and also banks are not calling students with low scores. they’ll keep their seats vacant or in backlog but will naver allow candidates to be in stand by mode 4 waitin list.
hmmm
17 june 2012 IBPS po/mt exam very easy, but it is time taking.computer paper is very hard.Math paper also very hard.
my paper was in evening shift… i must say, reasoning and Quant was very very tough… reasoning is like CAT exam… it is difficult to attempt 25 question in 45 minute….over all GK below avg,… Comp avg…English below Avg….Quant above avg. and Reasoning was tough…
WTh…!..waited long enough to get an interview call last time, and den found myself being robbed by about 3800 rupees..now,again a 450 ruppees lost…what do they of the Indians…ehh..? How cud dey play with future of us..?
Exam was really very tough general knowledge part was full of banking questions and reasioning and numerical was extremely tough. . actually the questions were normal but it was too twisted in a lengthy manner that we cant finish it of within t he specified time,. and IBPS is providing one hour for descriptive paper that can be even finished within 30 mins. They really dont know to check the intelligence of students. even the person who framed the question paper will not crack the qualifying score within the qiven time. they should know to think on our side too. . IBPS selection procedure should be changed. everyone should condemn the procedure of IBPS. all are working hard to crack the exams but finally they get disappointment as result. . They should set questions that are atleast able to qualify the minimum marks.
17 June IBPS po/mt question paper very hard, but it is time taking.
Resoning-28
Math -18
Gk -32
Computer-22
English -30
sorry..grammar mistake…”what do they think of the Indians..ehh? How cud dey play with our future…?”

Bad attempt.
Hi,
if you really work hard by atleast spending 5 to 6 hours per day in reasoning and qa.it is sperb.
anyway these topics are bit tough today,
but if ur really BTECH or MCA background u can score un computers atleast 45 ….
gud luck .
This is the toughest bank exam that i have given, paper setter cant even think a single time that they should not set paper too hard to qualify only, if student studied whole year and this type of paper ,then papers setters really playing with their life
munni if someone is BTECH and MCA , why he/she comes to banking sec. and if he/she coming to that sec, that is his/her biggest and foolish mistake
my paper was in the first shift. when i saw paper i attempt first computer & GA both tough. But jaise hi reasoning ko dekha usne to hosh hi uda, aisa paper aaj tak nhi dekha. uske baad jo kuch remaining tha usko maths ne fill kr diya… I was just like an IAS/ PCS exam
I think these people are playing wid our careers.. Achieving somthing around 40 in reasoning & maths section seemed impossible to me!! what u say guys//??
ya the paper was really very tough and we were seated on only chairs no bench were provided and no fans were there
kyu na IBPS walon ko is circle mein bithaya jaaye and then asked to solve the question , even then i think , they will not able to make it…..but we are great people who tried it on a piece of paper…
the question i would like to ask through banks-india is… how does ibps justifies giving such a tough paper relative to the previous one. So even if they set a low cut off for this paper, the candidates will have to compete with those who got high marks in previous attempt but still din’t get a job( not qualified in interview or in 150+ level).
fck IBPS……the 2nd shift paper fcks the brain…..quants,reasonig are very very very very tough..my open challenge to IBPS fckrs is that it is impossible for even the civils CSAT exam pupil to crack at least 50 questions out of 100 (bth in qunts &reasonin)in 90 minitues. i also thnk that cracking CSAT exam 2nd paper is very much easy compared to IBPS quants and reasoning….dont know y ibps people are playin with the lifes of students.
no comments,.nothing 2 say..
my attempts
reasoning 4
math 17
computer 5 wo b sure nhi
eng Himmat hi nhi hui yar

after a preparation of 1 year
i want to become a banker not an ias officer
mere haalat aise hain k main ku6 kah nahi sakta………..
The paper was too tough, the time limit was not enough to solve atleast this kind of paper. This was the toughest & the lenghtiest paper i had ever seen before.
if they really want to set such kind of paper, why dont they publish the same kind of sample papers, atleast for our practise.
i dont think its good. they are playing with our precious time.
its both wastage of time as well as wastage of money too.

dear friend,
i am completely agreey with you.Reasoning and Math section were really very tough and lenghties.
I got 148 score for my last IBPS exam..but was of no use..didnt get any call. This time I
planned to score more atleast 170 and so practised the reasoning section well. But alas!
the paper was too tough specially the reasoning…the puzzles solving ran our time ):
The aptitude was comparitively easy but the time was so less.Anyways no hope of even getting a score card thie time :D. Also I dont think there is need of 1 hr in descriptive section…a total waste of time was this exam.
kamino par ke toh jaya karo.
Toughest paper ever for the PO selection?IBPS should pay the newly recruited PO’s as per RBI pay scale of GRADE ‘B’ officers.
