IBPS Clerk-2 Exam to be Online – Notification Out
IBPS has announced the notification for the next Common Written Examination (CWE Clerk-II) for Clerical Cadre. CWE Clerk-2 which is a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in December 2012.
Candidates who qualify in CWE Clerk-II, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be co-ordinated by IBPS. Candidates, successful in qualifying in both the CWE and Common Interview will be listed in the order of merit. Depending on the vacancies in each bank of his preference, candidate will receive through a computerised system an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks.
Candidates intending to appear for CWE will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination and interview, eligibility criteria, online registration process, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc.
After the declaration of result of both CWE and common interview, a notification will be issued by IBPS giving the state/UT wise and category-wise vacancies for each Bank and order of preference for Banks will be obtained from successful candidates. Based on the marks obtained in CWE and common interview as well as the indication of order of preference of Banks and available vacancies, a successful candidate will receive a call from an individual Bank. Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only. Consequently, a candidate would be required to appear for CWE in any one of the centres in that
particular State/UT.

Following points should be kept in mind before applying:
1) Candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria, on the date of eligibility (01.10.2012).
2) Application Fees/ Intimation Charges can be paid via Online Mode through credit card/ debit card/ internet banking or through Offline Mode (through CBS branches of 7 designated PSBs)
3) Online registration will be complete only after the candidates register online and remit the requisite application fees/ intimation charges either through online/ offline mode.
4) Admission to exam will be purely provisional without verification of documents.
5) Ineligible candidates will not be allowed for interview.
6) Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only.
7) As far as possible candidates will be allotted to a centre of his/her choice. However IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the Centre other than the one he/she has opted for and a candidate may be allocated a centre of exam outside the State/UT for which vacancies he/she is applying.
8) Please note this reallocation is only for the conduct of examination only and the candidate will be considered for vacancies in the State/UT applied for.
9) Application printout & fee receipt should be kept with the candidate and should not be sent to the Participating Banks/ IBPS.

that could be good.it will stop multiple selection which was the biggest failure of ibps.but god knows…..about banks bcz every bank has diff.norms and condition for selection.actual to jab aayega tab pta chalega….

if u had studied computer science as one of d subject in +2 or in grad,u dont need any certificates. If not,its a mandatory.

so its very clear now.ibps will follow same process for PO recruitment as notified for cllerks.
that means after common interview for po bank will make merit list.and allot one candidate to just one bank.so nomore multiple selections as it will be computerised process.even if i get rank 1 i will just get 1 bank and if i dont join i will have to wait for 1 year.
Sir i completed my graduation this year but still my college does not provided me the degree and i think i will get my degree in a 6-7 months time interval so sir would you be able to tell me that am i eligible for this exam or not..???

I have gone through the recent IBPS Clerk – 2 (2012) ad. It states “With the validity of the scorecard issued for the first CWE for Clerks held in November/December 2011 expiring in February 2013”.
I have scored 179 marks in IBPS Clerk – 1 (2011) . My queries are :
1.) Do I need to appear for this year’s exam or old score would suffice ?
2.) If I give 2012 exam and score less marks , then which result would be valid ?? earlier one with more marks or new one with less mark ??
what is the minimum score to pass the CWE?
i have a three month duration tally computer course certificate and have computer as a subject in my 3rd year is it enough to fulfill eligibility criteria for ibps reply
ibps just playing with our future every exam they are doing diff type of exam plz make movement to close ibps .

1) The old score will not be valid after Feb 2013 so you will have to write the exam again now. If you get any interview call or selection before Feb 2013 based on the first exam well and good.
2) As scores will be invalid after Feb 13 they will only consider the new scores (it doesn’t matter if it is less or more)

There are talented people who have cleared ibps written exam without a degree.Why do you hold their hands by having eligibility criteria as degree.Please re think about the eligibility criteria as i am one them.i am posting this on behalf of many…..

Frnds one can appear again for ibps exam to improove their score. score card is valid for 1 year. And there is no such bank who recruit twice in a year. so obvious ur score card is of no use. better appear in all ibps exam to improove ur score and selection.

Frnds, kindly read notification carefully. detail about educational qualification and computer education is given and is very crystal clear to understand. And the deadline date is given by which candidate should have the said qualification. For present notification its 01/10/2012. one should have his/her degree on or before this date. I think vry simple to understand.
