IBPS has been given yet another responsibility and this is to conduct a Common Written Exam (CWE) for 56 Region Rural banks in India. Candidates seeking employment in RRBs will now have to qualify IBPS CWE for RRBs for Officers/Office as well as Assistants posts.
Knowledge of Local Language is a must specially in Clerical cadre recruitment, as RRBs are confined within a particular state and knowing local language becomes a must to work there.There are total of 56 RRBs currently in our country which is regulated by NABARD,  that will now recruit through a common written exam conducted by IBPS for the Posts of Officers (Scale -I/II/III) and Office Assistants.

How to Prepare for Mathematics

The students can score well in Maths Section provided he / she should keep some of the points mentioned below :-

1) In examination don’t waste your time in attempting the difficult questions. First of all attempt those questions which you could easily solve then attempt tough and lengthy ones.
2) One must not loose the confidence during preparation and while giving the exams.
3) The candidate should prepare a time table and practice maths daily by fixing time. After making the schedule just stick to it. The time table must have all the required routine in preparation time mentioned. Also must include the timings of the resting and exam preparation, and other important activities.
4) Remember formulas and tricks for as many different types of questions one can !
5) The most important thing is to practice minimum 1 maths set alloting 45 minutes maximum for PO and 35 min for clerical.
Few recommended Math books by the candidates who had cracked Banking Exams are BSC publication books by M. Tyra and K. Kundan. along with RS Aggarwal.

How to Prepare for Reasoning

For reasoning the topics asked are – Analytical Reasoning, Analogy, Coded Inequalities, Cause and effects, Assumptions, Mirror-Images, Figure Formation and Analysis, Series, Syllogism, Puzzles, Non verbal reasoning and few more.
In PO the reasoning is high level so one should practice thoroughly before exam and solve the known questions first and do not attempt puzzle first as it puzzles the mind too !
Few recommended books are RS Aggarwal , BSC, and Arihant publication books for reasoning.

How to Prepare for English Section

The English Section includes comprehension of a passage, Synonyms, Antonyms, Grammar, Common Errors, Use of prepositions, idioms/phrases, Re-arranging jumbled up sentences, etc. Generally English paper is of  qualifying nature and helps to eliminate students.
Books which helps in preparation of English are RS Aggarwal, Previous papers Of PO and Clerk.

How to Prepare for Computers

This section is very scoring and the candidate can increase its percentage in this section to compete others. The section is including various questions on the Computer Fundamentals and basic information that a candidate can found in 5th or 6th standard ICSE books. The candidates who think that he/she are poor in the knowledge of the computer must not to worry about it. Those candidates should just learn the Previous papers of PO and CLERK exams. If you have good knowledge in computers this will increase your self-confidence and you will score well, so start your preparation. Prepare yourself for the examination by reading some computer books as well as blogs on internet. Just allot 15 -20 minutes in computer section.

How to Prepare for General Awareness

Today’s competitive exams have the integral part which is served by the GA Section. As it comprises Economical, Geographical, Social, Culture and other current affairs. This is all that surrounding happening at national or international level. It can be said as a tough section for those who do not prepare and read magazines or newspaper daily !
Candidates appearing for the examination must be prepared for General Awareness questions of last 6 months.
You can collect the information from several GK books, newspapers, and magazines, etc. Some of the good source of GK are Pratiyogita Darpan , Competitive in Focus, Newspapers, Internet, etc.
They candidate must check the daily news whether on TV watching various news channels and also read the various important days like when and what is happening currently. Some of the topics such as who is who, Important Days, etc. must be revised.
