This common interview policy will only be good when there will be no cut off for interviews.
I have scored 167 marks but all in vain.
Bank intrvw ke liye form to sbse bharwate h but cut off itne high dete h. Jb intervw lena hi ni tha to pass bhi kyu kiya.
At least 2nd list to nikalni chahiye intrvw ki……….

best idea will be according to me waiting option must need if sm1 selected more than one bank ,he will chose 1 bank so, bank should need to made waiting list.

  • bhuppi says:

ibps is totaly failed. . .

  • Dipti says:

When this common interview will be in progress

  • ankit says:

you dont deserve a call with the score you have. Actually ibps made the mistake of declaring 120 marks cutoff. Cutoff should have been close to 160. You say you rejected it companies for bank clerical job then it points out to the fact that either you are a faking it or you are foolish. IT companies give package in excess of 2.4 lakh comparing it with a salary of 15,000 pm in clerk. I know this because I am a btech myself.

  • ankit says:

they already do so. the best idea would be to seize the marksheets of those candidates who are selected for one bank. so they are not able to take part in interview in other banks.

  • Saravanan says:

why blame others for your doing. even u should have worked hard and scored more. it is a story of sour grapes

  • Sushma says:

dear its not blaming others…its just to follow a particular procedure..i think u hv been called by several banks…but hv selected a bank according to ur convenience…all of them who hv qualified hv wrkd hard…

  • Saravanan says:

Qualifing alone does not guarantee u a job. it is just like ur engineering and medical seats where many pass with just minimum marks and qualify and only few get seats as per the vacancies and toppers get to select branch and colleges as per thier choice. so please don’t crib. work hard the next time and do come into the elite group of toppers

  • Yogesh says:

Bhuppi thats why I have mentioned that a specif time and deadline should be mentioned for all banks for delaration of final results…

  • madhupriya dey says:

be it common interview or separate, what we do not want is multiple selections..thousands of candidates have been declared pass with valid score cards and still they did not get a single chance to sit for any of the interviews as the cut offs were too high,…either the banks should keep a score range that has a maximum and minimum range as per decided by ibps on the bank’s behalf or the pass marks should be set very high so that the candidates do not get a consolation score card to be displayed in their showcase and finally no calls for interview.

  • SANJIT says:

The process of IBPS recruitment & selection need to be scrutinized very minutely. They r as follows :-
    (i) The vacancies in the states to be rationalised. means u cannot give 2000 vacancies in one state and 25 vacancies in another. Pl give the vacancies as per the ratio of the candidates passed.
    (11) I dont think for the clerk recruitment any GD is required. Don’t make it so HI FI. ( Canara Bank)
    (111) The local language (read, write & speak) not to be a criteria for Ex servicemen as they are already away from home town for many years serving the nation. So domicile and writing capability not to be a criteria for them,If at all pl give them a chance to learn in the probation period.
(1V) When the respective banks declare the results pl give a pause before declaring next results.Bcoz same candidates name appear in the results making the recruitment process a mess.

this is good approach. bt by this way there would be remain no difference among all. high scorer has same opportunity as low scorer. i m not favor of common interview.only for making recruitment process easy we cant ignore the preferability of student who got more score in cwe. we should hv to prefer the talent first then for recruitment process.

  • shylu says:

Mind ur words Ankit. Who the hell r yu to say me fake. I just explained my situation. Yu could hav said dat my marks wont fetch me to get in bank clerk but den who d hell r yu to say me foolish. D way you convey to others show how stupid you r. Its my wish of taking up IT els bank. You mind ur own business.

  • shylu says:

    I accept ur saying.

  • Biplab Biswas says:

I think it is not right process to arrange a common interview.
Bank can take common interview and then they should take a counselling.
Then the candidate choose their bank choice.

  • ajay says:

comn intrvw is bkwas idea..indivisual intrvw is right

  • Ankita says:

It is spoiling the hard work of students and its multiple selection just blocking the seats of aspirants….so common interview is the good option.

  • Akki says:

mene dekha hai ke kuch bande bar bar kahete hai ke hume interview face to karne do.are bhai tum interview face karke kya karoge.chalo intervoew me pas bhi ho gaye par overall merit aap ka down hai to down hi rahega.
dekho simple policy hai get the big score & then give interview.you will be definitely select as a bank clerk/po.
aap ka score itna kam hai ke ye log vacancies ke 1:4 aur 1:5 ke ratio se bulate hai to bhi aap shortlist nahi to saaj lena chahiye ke kami amari mehnat mai hai.

So don’t think negative go for positive.planning karo abi 1 month baki hai RRB ko.and you will definitely succeed.please padhami dhyan de aur itna score kare ke aap ko har interview me bulaye.aap select ho jao uske bad dusre interview me apply nahi karna.
ok.wish you all the best.you can do it friends.

  • BVR PATNAIK says:

    Dear Sir,
It will be better if interview is conducted for 3 to 4 banks commonly each time. This will reduce the time for selection process. The Score card of the candidate who is slelected should be seized.

  • BVR PATNAIK says:

Common interview should be conducted for 3 to 4 banks combindly so that time of selection process shall be reduced. Further, the score cards of the selected candidates should be seized.

  • kranthi says:

  • prabhudas says:

it is good that finance ministry gave permission to conduct common interview . But it is not clear that when does common interviews start because all banks still going on their recruitment process

  • prabhu says:

ibps po 1 interview process seems to be tuglak administration any how govt nodded to conduct common interview then ibps continue the remaining process because thousands of posts ought to be filled only little time left for validity expiry but thousands of aspirants posed lot of hopes now all are despaired including who are at age bar condition this is time to take legal action against ibps for spoiling career of so many job aspirants of ibps1 and implementing foolish process this was benificial for banks to earn money
