CATEGORY- WISE INDIVIDUAL TEST CUT-OFF:
For General Category: TWS – Minimum 24 in each section
For Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD): Minimum 21 in each section
Education Qualifications:
a) A Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India as on 01.07.2011.
b) Computer Literacy: Computer proficiency is essential. Before joining the Bank in Officer Cadre, candidate should possess basic computer application and operational skills, i.e., WINDOWS, MS OFFICE/LOTUS SMART SUITE, Internet and E-Mail operations. A certificate from a recognised University or an Institute duly recognised by the State/Central Government or from any other Institute which is acceptable to the Bank to be submitted by the candidate as an evidence of having acquired computer proficiency. The candidate having passed the computer subject during his graduation/postgraduation will also be acceptable. Duration of the course done should be preferably for 60 hours.
c. Candidates should be able to produce the valid score card issued by IBPS in support of the scores mentioned in the online application form if called for further selection process such as interview.

dena bank called such a huge ratio of 1: 10,what r d probality of seleciton as many not turn up for the interview,and how many high scorers who have attended the interview

IBPS is a money making exam board .
very few seats are available but they show higher vacancy many peoples clear the exam but sure to get the job. 31 lakhs student register for exam and 21 lakhs student clear the exam but only 878 student get the job in one year. means board earn ( 450*31 )lakhs rupees in one month. I think they are making money
Gen score =129 forget it. Gen category need to score 50 marks more than reserved category.
Firstly IBPS is for professionals not kids. Secondly many bank have advertised 1500 post each. Where u got that 878 figure??? IBPS is great exam-scheme as it avoids many applications, saves money & reduces stress.

Bro please check the cuttoff marks for some of the states the cutoff as much as the general cat except for handicapped as there are very few people in this cat
