Corporation Bank invites applications for the post of Probationary Clerks from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination (IBPS CWE) for Clerical Cadre conducted by IBPS in Nov-Dec, 2011 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria.
Number of Jobs: 1550 Probationary Clerks.

Opening date for Online Registration: 12-06-2012
Last Date for Online Registration: 26-06-2012
Probation period: 6 months.
Education Requirements –
Graduate in any descipline with 40% marks (SC/ST/VI/HI/OC 35% marks)
Other Essentials – Computer Literacy and Local Language of the State
Statewise IBPS Score cutoffs and Number of Seats

sir i have scored 144 marks in 2011~12 ipbs clerk exam.i am a obc student.is there any chance for my interview.
Ibps kehte hai 12 wale bhi apply kar skate hai Aur other banks ne bhi 12 wale ko chance diya hai to coroporation bank ko kya ho gaya. Ibps commenit kuch karte kyu nahi hai

IBPS is really bull sit, a candidate has suppose 185 marks, he is good, but he will be called by all banks and may be selected by 10 banks, but he will join only one. So he denied many others to apperas in interview, then afdter selection also denied denied baks to fill vacany.

dear, you have chance wait,
but all banks normally declere assume 1500 vacany, and assume in UP bank have 200 vacancy, so 1000 will be called, later same things happend with other banks, finally the same candidate is being called due to his merrit in all banks.
This IBPS scheme will fail.

This is really disgusting. I have scored 176 from U.P. and according to IBPS there are around 1600 candidates above or at 176 level. Candidates has been shortlisted for 817 posts and I got only one call. Every bank keeps cut-off score at 181. According to IBPS IBPS there are around 800 candidates above 181. So 817 jobs and 800 candidates. Seats are not going to filled by these recruitment. They can have a common interview panel as well and they can select candidate according to combined merit. Current procedure is sucking. Peoples are getting frustrated.

Educational qualification has no relevance to your posting. There are many engineering students with MBA
has jointed the bank as clerks.
If your MCA can get better wages why don’t you try outside the Bank.
