The clerical cadre recruitment would be on State-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/ UT only. It will therefore be necessary that candidates appear for examination in one of the centres of a particular State/UT where they would like to apply for employment in Annexure I.

If in case of clerical, IBPS can reduce the minimum requirements to 10+2 giving importance to the demand from the non-graduate candidates, why in case of PO, it was not done?? Most of the bank in PO seeking for the candidates having 55 or more % in Graduation whereas IBPS gives the chance to sit in the exam to all graduates. Is it legal?? Only 4 or five banks seek for simple graduate candidates where as major % of banks need 55-60 % in graduation. And most of banks got their cutoff marks not bellow 135 in case of ST, 145 in case of SC, 155 in case of OBC and Gen. but in case of sending application, they set up a marks in a way that every candidate having a valid IBPS score card can apply. And the marks obtained bellow the above mentioned points, never got a call from any banks. The question is, the candidate getting bellow that marks don’t have the potential to be a PO??
If in case clerical, the IBPS can randomize or take steps any other process to get a chance to the lower score secured candidates to face the interview blocking higher score holders to apply in multiple banks, why didn’t do in case of PO??
And the last point and a request to the competent authority is that, in NE region, PO recruitment should be held separately for the good of NE region as the problem of NE region can understand better by the candidates belongs to this region only….
