Government of India, Ministry of Finance has announced the amalgamation of Chaitanya Grameena Bank and Godavari Grameena Bank sponsored by Andhra Bank into a single Regional Rural Bank with its Head Office at Guntur,Andhra Pradesh. The Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank has emerged as a new entity effective from 01.03.2006. The Head Office of the new Bank is situated at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

 Scale of Pay:

Officer Scale II: Rs 19400 – 700/1 – 20100 – 800/10 – 28100.
Officer Scale I: Rs 14500 –  600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7-25700.
Office Assistant: Rs.7200 – 400/3 – 8400 -500/3 – 9900-600/4 –12300-700/7 17200-1300 – 18500-800-19300   (20 years).

EMOLUMENTS:

Officer Scale II: 19400 (Basic) + 14841(D.A + HRA) =Rs.35502.
Officer Scale I: 14500 (Basic) + 11093(D.A + HRA) =Rs.26535.
Office Assistant: 7200(Basic)+5508(DA) + 504 (HRA)=Rs.13212

Eligibilty Criteria (As on 1-06-2012) and other norms:

(1) Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers:

  • Age Limit: Above 21 years –  Below 32 years
  • Educational Qualification & Qualifying standard score:

–  Chartered Accountant

Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with experience of atleast 1 year.

RRB Qualifying standard score:

  • For SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 17 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 115 marks & above.
  • For General:  19 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 122 marks & above.

– Law Officer

Degree from a recognised University in Law or itsequivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience: Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.

RRB Qualifying standard score:

  • For SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 21 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 125 marks & above.
  • For General:  24 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 134 marks & above.

Information Technology

Degree from a recognised University in  Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience in Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.  for atleast 1 year.

RRB Qualifying standard score:

  • For SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 21 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 125 marks & above.
  • For General:  24 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 134 marks & above.
  • Probation Period: 2 years

(2) Officer Scale-1 :

  • Age Limit: Above 18 years –  Below 28 years
  • Educational Qualification:  Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Candidates are required to possess proficiency  in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “ local language” as one of the  subjects  at Matriculation/Xth Standard.
  • Probation Period: One Year
  • RRB Qualifying standard score:

For SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 17 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 97 marks & above.
For General:  19 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 103 marks & above.

(3) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

  • Age Limit: Between  18 years and 28 years
  • Educational Qualification:  Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Candidates are required to possess proficiency  in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “ local language” as one of the  subjects  at Matriculation/Xth Standard.
  • Probation Period: One Year
  • RRB Qualifying standard score:

For SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 17 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 89 marks & above.
For General:  19 & above marks in each section and total weighted standard score of 95 marks & above.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:    

  • For Officer Scale-I (Generalist Officer):- Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.  Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
  • For Officer Scale-II  (Chartered Accountant):- Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.  Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
  • For Officer Scale-II (Law & IT officer):- Selection will be made on the basis of performance in  IBPS Score on Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the Common Written Examination conducted for Public Sector Banks for Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and Personal Interview.  Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):- Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.  Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

Please Note:

  •  Candidates selected for any of the above mentioned posts will have to execute a bond agreeing to pay to the bank Rs. 1 lakh in the event of their leaving the bank’s job on their own, within a period of ONE YEAR.
