The Food Corporation of India (FCI), one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with  food grain supply-chain management, intends to recruit Management Trainees (General/ Depot/  Movement/ Accounts/ Technical/ Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical  Engineering) for manning posts in its depots and offices spread all over the Country.

Applicants have to pay Rs.500 or Rs.1000 (for 2 posts) in cash at any SBI branch using challan provided after registration or via demand draft on or before July 31st.
# SC/ST/ ExSM/ PH & all women applicants are not required to pay fees.

Educational Qualification Required: (As on 01/08/2013)

# Age Limit: Age should not be more than 28 yrs as on 1.8.2013 (+5yrs for sc/st & +3 yrs for obc)

Pay Scale & Probation Period:

Management Trainees will be absorbed as Managers in the IDA Pay scale of Rs. 16400 –40500 after successful completion of training period of six months. Stipend of Rs.8500 /month shall be paid during 6 months training.

Selection Process:

  • The selection process will be consisting of Written Test (WT), Group Discussion (GD) and Interview for Management Trainees (MTs).
  • While all applicants have to appear for paper I, applicants for Accounts, Tech, Civil, Mech, Electrical posts should also appear for paper II as well
  • Those clearing the paper will be called for GD & Interview rounds.
  • The Weightage assigned for Written Test, Group  Discussion, Interview and Training are 70%, 10%, 10% and 10% respectively.

Please Note:

  • All selected candidates should sign a bond for Rs.1 lakh agreeing to serve the corporation for 3 years.
  • Candidates can apply only in ONE ZONE either North Zone or South Zone or East Zone or West Zone or North-East Zone as per vacancies.
  • If eligible, a candidate can apply for all the three posts of Management Trainee  (General/Depot/Movement) by giving an Order of Preference for each of these posts in the Application Form.
